Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 33 points and Kristaps Porzongis had 20. It was Mew York's first game under interim head coach Kurt Rambis. Overall, the Knicks (23-32) have dropped 10 of 11 and six straight entering the All Star break.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, just two other active players have had double-digit streaks of games where they scored at least 20 against the Heat. Dirk Nowitzki has done it 14 times straight from 2005 to 2012, and Kevin Durant has 11 consecutive games of at least 20 against the Heat from 2009 to 2014.
