The details are in on Saints LT Terron Armstead's new contract, which is worth exactly $65 million in new money over five years (a total of $66.671 million over six years). That ties him with Bills' Cordy Glenn for the second-richest deal among NFL offensive linemen. Armstead got an $11 million signing bonus and $38 million in guarantees ($20.88 million fully guaranteed; $17.12 million gt'd for injury only – though some of that will later be converted to full guarantees). The Saints are now roughly $2 million under the 2016 salary cap.
