Nihar Janga is believed to be one of the youngest Scripps National Spelling Bee champions. The fifth-grader, who some called The Machine, won the competition in his first try.

Jairam Hathwar, 13, and Nihar Janga, 11, are Scripps National Spelling Bee co-champs after Jairam correctly spelled Feldenkrais and Nihar spelled gesellschaft to win. Jairam is the brother of Sriram, who was a co-champ in 2014. The bee has had co-champs for three straight years.

Amy Goldstein ESPN Editor

Jairam Hathwar and Nihar Janga both misspelled their words in Round 37. Just two rounds can remain in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Let's remember JBJ's 29-game hit streak

Now that his hit streak has come to an end, check out Jackie Bradley Jr. hitting in 29 straight games.

For the first time since Game 1, there is suspense entering the fourth quarter of a West finals game.

We enter championship round 18 in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. If the spellers do not misspell in the next seven rounds, there will be co-champions for the third straight year.

First OKC lead comes on a Westbrook 3. 68-67 Thunder

Jairam Hathwar misspelled drahthaar in Round 26, and Nihar Janga then spelled rafraichissioir correctly but misspelled his championship word of ayacahuite to put Jairam back in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Klay Thompson looking exhausted after that last turnover. Hands on knees. GSW up 65-61

Royce Young @royceyoung

The Thunder being down four with Durant and Westbrook a combined 11-34 is kind of remarkable.

Nihar Janga and Jairam Hathwar have spelled 20 words correctly in a row in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Jackie Bradley Jr. hitting streak ends but don't run away in fantasy. Two at-bats could have been homers. Hit ball hard. His emergence is real.

Jerry Crasnick ESPN Senior Writer

Jackie Bradley Jr.'s hitting streak is done and in the books at 29 games. He went 0-for-4 against Colorado's Jon Gray and fell one short of tying Nomar Garciaparra and Tris Speaker for second place on the Red Sox career list at 30. Bradley was standing in the on-deck circle when Mookie Betts grounded out to end the game.

Andrew Bogut had 12 points all series entering tonight. He had 10 in the first half plus eight rebounds.

Speller Sylvie Lamontagne, who tied for ninth in the Scripps National Spelling Bee last year, improved her finish this year to fourth but misspelled chaoborine in Round 15. We're into the championship word list live on ESPN.

The second period ends with the Pittsburgh Penguins holding a 2-1 lead in Game 7 of the ECF against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Lightning captain didn't see the ice too often in the second period. He had only five shifts and overall has logged 6:29 of ice time. He's 3-for-3 on drops and still has two shots on net. His second shot of the game was a quality scoring chance but Penguins goalie Matt Murray made the save.

Tim MacMahon ESPN Staff Writer

The Warriors are plus-10 with Draymond Green (minus-73 in OKC) on the floor. He has only 4 points, but he's rebounding, distributing and defending like the All-Star he is.

Curry has awoken, scoring run of 7. Draymond in transition to Curry for 3 evokes what GSW has been this season

Bryce Harper's first homer in almost two weeks helped Dusty Baker become the 17th manager with 1700 career wins, as the Nats beat the Cards 2-1 in the opener of a four-game set. The W extends Washington's NL East over the idle Mets to one game.
