Not sure what it means, but Dwyane Wade changed shoes between stints in the first and second quarter. He opened the game with a florescent color pattern but now is going with basic grays.

Welp, that was brutal for the Hornets. Heat up 29-18 after one quarter after getting 17 rebounds -- six of which on the offensive glass -- to Charlotte's seven. Hornets coach Steve Clifford pointed to his team's minus-15 performance on the boards in their Game 6 loss, and with the frontcourt a bit banged up, Miami has gotten to work down low.

Heat lead 29-18 after the first. It's just the fourth time this series that Miami has held Charlotte below 20 points in a quarter. No Heat player needed a boost of confidence in that period more than Goran Dragic, whose 8 points were more than Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lin (5) had combined.

Frank Kaminsky has 7 FGA in this game. No other player on either side has more than 4.

After shooting 75% at the line since the All-Star break, Hassan Whiteside now 16-of-29 (55%) in the playoffs after missing those two. He's impressively worked his way back from being a Hack-A target, but he's been a little shaky in his first postseason.

Justin Verrier ESPN Staff Writer

Steve Clifford pointed to Hornets' -15 rebounding and lack of physicality as issues in Game 6. Heat have 8 boards, 3 on offense.

Kevin Pelton ESPN Staff Writer

Looks like the Hornets are going down with the S.S. Frank Kaminsky.

Heat daring the rookie Frank Kaminsky to beat them. Luol Deng willingly helping off to double Al Jefferson down low and beating "the Tank" to and-1 putbacks. Kaminsky is 0-3 so far.

Joe Johnson hasn't dunked in over a year and it showed on that last trip when he threw a lob to Hassan Whiteside instead of taking it hard to the rim. Just doesn't have the confidence or lift inside anymore.
