The Saints, trailing 24-6 in the fourth quarter, are in serious jeopardy of not scoring a touchdown for the first time in the 10-year Sean Payton-Drew Brees era.

Virginia Tech hires Fuente as coach

Virginia Tech has hired Justin Fuente to succeed Frank Beamer as coach. Fuente, 39, has a 26-23 record in four seasons at Memphis. The Tigers are 9-3 this year after going 10-3 last season and ending a six-year bowl drought. Story
