Roberto Aguayo quiere emular éxito de Raúl Allegre

My favorite stat on Andrew Billings is this one from when he was in high school: As an offensive tackle, he had 266 pancake blocks his junior and senior years.

Max Olson ESPN Staff Writer

Had he not gone pro, DT Andrew Billings likely would've been the Preseason Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. The Bengals fourth-round pick fell much further in this draft than most expected, but Big 12 coaches would tell you he's one of the best nose tackles they'd ever seen.

Bengals select defensive tackle Andrew Billings (Baylor) with their fourth-round pick (122nd overall). This is a great value add for them after Billings was once expected to be a first-round pick.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins received a fifth-round pick this year (no. 152) and a fifth-round choice in 2017 from New Orleans in exchange for the Redskins' fourth-round choice, No. 120 overall.

Will Fuller, Braxton Miller, Tyler Ervin. Houston adds three players who would be tough to tackle in *flag* football. Dynamic movers.

Rams adding some pass catching targets for Jared Goff with TE Tyler Higbee and WR Pharoh Cooper. Put Cooper in the slot and let him go to work.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross on OT Laremy Tunsil: "Meeting the kid, you know this is a good kid. It's going to be a great choice."

Edward Aschoff ESPN Staff Writer

Ole Miss has stayed relatively quiet about the Laremy Tunsil situation, but AD Ross Bjork says the a lot of progress has been made by the school during the last 36 hours of its own investigation: "We went to work immediately on Thursday night and we have made a lot of progress. The facts are way more important than speed and a public display of the process. We are working with all parties to find an answer and a resolution."

Classic Bill Belichick pick in Malcolm Mitchell, a wide receiver who was once one of the top HS cornerbacks in the country, and played both ways early on at Georgia. Troy Brown, anyone?

US gymnast Simone Biles, a three-time world all-around champion, will announce the Texans' fourth-round pick. She said she asked the Texans why her and they said "well it's because you're amazing!" You'll see her in Rio this summer. She gave us a trial run:

Regardless of picks, this Browns draft will be defined by QB Carson Wentz. The Browns had that pick and traded out of the spot. Now we see how he does in Philadelphia.

Jared Goff will get more than 45 TIMES the guaranteed $ at #1 (almost $28M) that Connor Cook at #100 will receive (little over $600K)

Jon Gruden told Connor Cook during the QB Camp taping that Jon's old boss, Al Davis, would have loved Cook for his arm talent. Jon referenced Derek Carr as another guy who came through QB camp and really spun it. On the flip side, Jon also referenced Jeff George, who, like Cook, takes too many chances with the ball. Interesting fit.

Paul Kuharsky ESPN Staff Writer

New Titans RB Derrick Henry lists Eddie George as his football role model. He'll have an easy connection with his fellow Heisman Trophy-winner after being drafted by the same franchise that selected George 14th overall in 1996 -- when Henry was 2 years old.

James Walker ESPN Staff Writer

Just had a chat with Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. He's thrilled with the Laremy Tunsil pick. He says the team is comfortable with Tunsil's character.

Jean-Jacques Taylor ESPN Staff Writer

The Cowboys wanted to draft Paxton Lynch and keep him on the bench for a couple of seasons, which would've drawn praise. They draft LB Jaylon Smith, who will probably miss at least one season with a knee injury, and the pick draws considerable criticism. Interesting.

Matt Bowen ESPN Staff Writer

Raiders trade up to grab MSU QB Connor Cook. That's a developmental pick for Oakland with Derek Carr running the offense. But it does allow Cook to improve his footwork and mechanics at the position while competing for a No.2 role as a rookie.

Matt Tifft won the pole for today's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. It is the first career pole for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. His teammate, Daniel Suarez will start 2nd. Three drivers did not make the race: Derrike Cope, Mike Harmon, and Josh Reaume. The race is scheduled to go green just after 3:00pm/et this afternoon.

Of the first 100 picks of this year's NFL draft, 44 players were ESPN 300 or 4-star rated recruits coming out of high school. A total of 34 were 3-star prospects and 22 were either 2-star recruits or unrated by ESPN.

The Browns made another trade, their fourth of the draft. They sent the 100th pick to Oakland for the 114th and 154th selections. The Browns traded a fourth-round pick for Oakland's fourth- and fifth-round picks.

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

Some football people saw QB Connor Cook as the best on-field prospect at the position in this draft. Fascinating that he ends up with the Raiders, a team that has a young and established starter. Maybe Reggie McKenzie follows the old Packers formula and trades Cook for a higher draft pick in a few years.
