The only guy who can win back-to-back majors this week -- Henrik Stenson -- nearly holed his approach shot on the second hole at Baltusrol. The Swede, who won the Claret Jug all of 11 days ago, will have a kick-in birdie to get to 1 under par at the PGA Championship.

Bubba Watson gets into red figures at the PGA Championship with a birdie putt that hangs on the lip on the par-4 second hole, then decides it would be better off in the bottom of the cup. And playing partner Sergio Garcia does the same. Both are 1 under through two holes at Baltusrol on Thursday.

Sergio Garcia is about to tee off in his 70th consecutive major championship, a streak that dates to the 1999 Open at Carnoustie. Garcia has never won a major but he does have 22 top-10 finishes, including T5s at the U.S. Open and Open in the last several weeks. He's got a ways to go however to match Jack Nicklaus' consecutive major streak of 146, which started at the 1962 Masters and went through the 1998 U.S.Open.

Impressive speed displayed by the Falcons' young linebackers on Day 1 of camp. Wide receivers made some nifty catches, particularly Mohamed Sanu (one-handed), Justin Hardy, and Aldrick Robinson. Both RBs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman showed why they can create mismatches in the passing game. The best rush might have come from DT Tyson Jackson straight up the middle. And Ricardo Allen (INT) and Jalen Collins made great plays on the ball

Argentina's Emiliano Grillo, currently a shot off Jimmy Walker's lead at Baltusrol, noted that the weakest part of his game is his putting, but it's the most important part of the game. All aspects worked well for him Thursday at the PGA Championship after posting his career-low round in a major (66).

Jimmy Walker has finished his opening round of the PGA Championship at -5, and is the leader in the clubhouse. With the Baltusrol greens getting firmer and the winds picking up this afternoon, it's a pretty decent bet he'll stay that way.
