ESPN analyst Jon Gruden, on a MNF conference call, offered his take on Geno Smith's culpability in the recent altercation and the state of the Jets' QB situation: "I don't know the exactness of his role in what happened, but there's a lot of smoke. Wherever there's smoke, there's fire." Gruden believes Ryan Fitzpatrick is "a good bridge to the future," adding "it's too early to give up on (Smith)."
