The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed on a two-year deal worth $2.5 million per season with veteran forward Lee Stempniak, the team announced Friday. This is his 10th career team in the NHL. "Lee is a veteran, skilled forward who will provide offense for our team, as well as leadership on and off the ice," said GM Ron Francis. Stempniak, 33, combined for 19 goals and 33 assists for 51 points with the Devils and Bruins last season.
