Like Agnieszka Radwanska, Simona Halep was exasperated after her match today, a straight-sets loss to Samantha Stosur, because of the court conditions. This is what Halep said: "I cannot comment about the conditions. I have no words. It was impossible to play, in my opinion. And to play tennis matches during the rain I think it's a bit too much. But everyone was in the same situation, and who was stronger won today.

Agnieszka Radwanska, who fell in a rain-delayed, three set match that finished Tuesday, was unhappy she had to play in wet, heavy conditions. Here's what she said after the match: "I'm just so surprised and angry, that, you know, we have to play in the rain. I mean, it's not a 10,000 tournament. It's a Grand Slam. How can you allow players to play in the rain? I cannot play in that conditions."

(Radwanska cont.) "I don't know who allows us to play in that kind of conditions. I mean, I don't think they really care what we think. I think they care about other things, I guess. "So, well, I'm just pissed. I just cannot play in that conditions. I mean, I'm not healthy enough."

The Jets' invisible wide receivers -- Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall -- are back at practice today. They skipped the opening week in what appeared to be a show of solidarity for the unsigned Ryan Fitzpatrick. Unfortunately, today's practice is closed to the media. We'll have to wait until tomorrow to get their take.
