The Milwaukee Brewers' trade talks involving Jonathan Lucroy have gained momentum, and it's looking more and more as if they'll move him by Monday's deadline. Cleveland, Houston and Texas are all in the mix for Lucroy, and at least three other clubs have expressed interest. Bruce has always had a big home/road split, but he's hitting everywhere right now, which should make him an attractive option to the Dodgers, Mariners, Giants or Indians.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi is apparently not sentimental when it comes to birthdays. Alex Rodriguez turned 41 on Wednesday, but did not get a spot in the lineup against righty Lance McCullers.
