The Blue Jays are making a touching pregame gesture before the game by playing a 1993 recording of 'O Canada' by the later musical theater star Michael Burgess. Burgess, who portrayed Jean Valjean and Don Quixote among others on stage, was famed for his rendition of the anthem at Jays and Leafs games. He died of cancer at age 70 on Sept. 28. Bobby Orr, Darryl Sittler and Paul Coffey were among the NHL stars who attended his funeral mass on Monday.
