Sooners the Best

The poster child for the season of whodathunkits has come away the undisputed national champion. In an outstanding defensive performance, Bob Stoops' Oklahoma Sooners defeated Florida State 13-2 in the FedEx Orange Bowl to win its seventh national title and first since 1985. Several factors contributed to the win, but ABC's Jack Arute says Oklahoma's advantage in time of possession was the key. ABC's Terry Bowden writes that this victory proved the Sooners were the best team in the nation.
