With the Gateway City touting itself as the "Best Sports City in America" due to a rather ignorant national publication, it's perplexing that no one has mentioned the curious Ring of Fame in the TWA Dome.
Rather than focus on the eight members of the Rams that are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, team officials have included the three Cardinals that join Ram greats like Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen and Eric Dickerson in Canton.
Putting the names of Dan Dierdorf, Jackie Smith and Larry Wilson up there would be like the Ravens having Unitas' name emblazoned in the middle of PSINet Stadium. The Rams shouldn't have to resort to minor league gimmicks.
