INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts
As the Man of the Hour, Peyton Manning finally peeled off his sweat-stained jersey and endless ankle wrappings off, and turned to a friendly face and tossed him the game ball he'd earned through his 440-yard, four-touchdown performance.

"I'll be back in a sec," said Manning to his older brother Cooper, the carbon-copy of Peyton minus several inches and 40 pounds. The elder Manning kept shaking his head. "It's one of the better performances of his life."
When I asked him exactly how pumped Peyton was for this game, Cooper dead-panned, "One-and-two would have been completely unacceptable to Peyton." And to an entire state that now looks forward to January for something other than hoops.
