Proudly wearing a gray "I survived Camp Ohlmeyer" t-shirt and jeans, Dennis Miller stood on the sidelines marveling at 19-year vet Gary Anderson while he practiced.
"This guy's been around forever. You know, could be in the Hall when you look at guys he's passed on kicking charts, like Jan Stenerud. Can you believe that?" His sense of wonderment is actually endearing.
Chuck Knox interrupted us and introduced himself. When he walked away, Dennis said, "Man, that guy is a God, especially where I'm from (Western PA)." It's cool to hear him get giddy about meeting someone.
