Notes from the 1992 MNF season:
Three teams with winning records on MNF in 1991 had losing records in '92: the defending champion Washington Redskins, the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs. Conversely, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, who had losing records the year before, both compiled winning records in '92.
After six years of controversy, owners voted against the continuation of instant replay's use as an officiating aid.
