Notes from the 1994 MNF season:
Monday Night Football celebrated its 25th anniversary on the air, and added former Pittsburgh Steeler great Lynn Swann to the broadcasting team as a sideline reporter.
MNF finished the 1994-95 television season as the fifth-highest rated show of 146, with a 17.8 average rating, the highest in the show's history.
Ten of the 12 playoff teams appeared on MNF in 1994. Those teams were 12-6 on Mondays. The Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots were the two teams that did not grace their presence on Monday Night.
