MNF History: 2000
ABC Sports Online

Notes from the 2000 MNF season:

  • ABC returned to a three-man booth in 2000 with Al Michaels being joined by NFL Hall of Famer Dan Fouts and comedian Dennis Miller. On the sidelines, MNF had two reporters -- Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson and Melissa Stark.

  • For the first time since the 1982 season, the San Francisco 49ers did not make an appearance on Monday Night Football.

  • Just three visiting teams won in 2000 -- all involving the Redskins. Washington lost at home to Dallas and Tennessee. But in Week 12, the Skins knocked off St. Louis in the Trans World Dome.
