Notes from the 2000 MNF season:
ABC returned to a three-man booth in 2000 with Al Michaels being joined by NFL Hall of Famer Dan Fouts and comedian Dennis Miller. On the sidelines, MNF had two reporters -- Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson and Melissa Stark.
For the first time since the 1982 season, the San Francisco 49ers did not make an appearance on Monday Night Football.
Just three visiting teams won in 2000 -- all involving the Redskins. Washington lost at home to Dallas and Tennessee. But in Week 12, the Skins knocked off St. Louis in the Trans World Dome.
