ABC's College Football Saturday

No. 2 Miami 33, Penn State 7

Willis McGahee
Willis McGahee and Miami ran over Penn State.
It was a magical moment as Adam Taliaferro ran out of the tunnel to lead Penn State out onto the field to open the 2001 season. But second-ranked Miami took over from there. Ken Dorsey and the Hurricane offense dominated the overmatched Nittany Lions 33-7. Dorsey finished the night by completing 20-of-27 passes for a career-high 344 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target was tight end Jeremy Shockey, who caught a career-high seven balls for 84 yards.
