Doug Henry, a paraplegic due to a 2007 motorcycle Supermoto accident, came to the inaugural SnoCross Adaptive knowing if he could stay on his seat, he'd have a chance. He stayed on and finished third. After a year of re-evaluating the event, and developing a new seat that may have a bit of swivel in it, he's ready to go back and do better. He's a fierce competitor in whatever he does, though he's at a distinct disadvantage as a paraplegic SnoCross Adaptive racer. A former X Games Supermoto gold medalist, Doug is a motocross legend who collected 25 AMA Motocross and Supercross victories as well as 4 points titles. The fan favorite keeps returning from adversity: the Henry family home was burned to the ground the day before Thanksgiving in 2010.
