After a 2 year absence, one of the original freestyle moto stars returns to Step Up, the discipline he once dominated. Clowers went undefeated the first 3 years of XG Step Up: gold in 2000-2002. Clowers' last gold came in 2005, and he didn't attend XG in 2009 and 2010, which makes it tempting to say time has passed the 38-year-old. Although he's no longer competitive in trick disciplines and concentrates on demos, he's quick to note that Step Up hasn't evolved at the same rapid pace of Freestyle, and the 35-foot height he cleared in 2000 is still as high as anyone has ever gone.
