A dual sport athlete, Cara-Beth is one of the foremost pioneers in both women's competitive skateboarding and snowboarding, and she's an Olympian (1998, 4th, halfpipe). She has gold from both Winter X (1997, silver, Slopestyle; 1998 gold, Half Pipe; 1999, bronze, Half Pipe) and X Games (Vert gold 2003, 2005, 2006; silver 2004; bronze in 2007). In 2008, Burnside earned a different distinction when she was nominated by PETA as one of the world's sexiest vegetarians.
