Joanie has earned a Snowboarder X medal of every color in her seven Winter X appearances (gold in '07, silver in '06 and bronze in 2010). When Joanie or sister Jamie compete at WX, their family (which includes seven brothers and sisters total) is there to support them. Joanie competes in both racing and halfpipe, but she really shines in SBX, even though she rarely races outside of Winter X. Both Anderson women won gold in '07 (Jamie in Slopestyle). They're the only siblings to both earn WX gold in the same year.
