Edgard is one of the strong contingent of high-flying Brazilian skaters who will do Vert and Big Air at XG 2011. He's been hitting the big air ramp for just three years but still finished 5th in the Big Air event at X Games 2009. Unlike most of his Brazilian counterparts, he lives full-time in Brazil, only traveling to the U.S. for contests. The married father of two is known to all as "Vovo," which means "grandpa" even though he's just 29 years old.
Bob Burnquist earned his third X gold in Skate Big Air at X Games 17.
