Ward, 48, is the oldest non-SKB Legends athlete at '09 XG and simply a racing legend. He's the only active inductee of both the Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. He was the first rider to win every major AMA Supercross/Motocross title (7 total), he has two Indianapolis 500 top-three finishes, one IRL victory, two AMA Supermoto titles and two XG gold medals. He was expected to retire at the conclusion of the 2007 and 2008 seasons but felt too good to give up something he loves. In 2008 he only competed in three Supermoto races, one being XG.
