One of the legends of skateboarding, Steve was the Vert champion and Skater of the Year in 1983 and 1984, and won both Street and Vert titles at the 1987 World Championships in Munster, Germany. That same year, he had the world record for the highest aerial on a ramp- eleven feet high on a ten-foot ramp, which was huge back in the day. With well over 30 career wins to his name, the inventor of the Caballerial and the frontside rock n' roll slide competed at the first X Games in 1995. Also gifted artistically, Steve has been a member of several punk bands throughout the years such as The Faction, Odd Man Out, Shovelhead, and Soda. These days he is fulfilling his artistic needs by painting. Caballero recently won the Masters division of the May 2010 Pro Tec Pool Party proving he still has what it takes to rake in podiums
