The first skier to land the switch double cork 1080 in a superpipe run, Dorey pulled it off at Winter X Europe in 2011 for silver. He attempted the same trick at Winter X 2012 but came down hard on the deck, dislocating his left shoulder after he bounced to the flatbottom and suffering serious bruising on his right side.. Winner of the 2011 AFP World Champs in Whistler, Dorey is a technical pipe skier who is a contender at every event he enters.
