Considered one of the most accomplished speed skiers (Downhill, Super G) in American history, Rahlves is also the 2008 WX gold medalist in Skier X. With the best racing pedigree on the roster, he is known for making exciting and risky passes, even if that means he sometimes crashes. A three-time Olympian in alpine racing who won the famous Hahnenkamm downhill in 2003, Rahlves made a fourth trip to the Olympics in 2010, but he was nursing a dislocated right hip (after a WX crash) and finished 28th. An avid motocross rider and father of twins (Miley and Dreyson, 3 ½), Daron competes in his fifth WX in 2010, his only skiercross of the season.
