Danny Kass is an enigma -- half successful, focused athlete, half beer-chucking screw-off, Kass is a business owner (Grenade Gloves), a two-time Winter Olympic silver medalist (2002, 2006), a reality TV star (The Adventures of Danny and the Dingo) and a seven-time Winter X medalist in both SuperPipe and Slopestyle (SuperPipe: 1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze; Slopestyle: 2 silver, 1 bronze). With technical prowess and a compressed, seemingly-effortless style, Danny has risen to the top ranks of professional snowboarding in the eyes of his colleagues, judges and fans. The party-guy image Danny projects might fool you, but don't let it; though he didn't qualify for the 2010 Winter Olympic team, he remains a top-ten threat, and don't be surprised if he claws his way back to the top; Danny Kass generally gets what he wants.
