Defending Street champ (and 2-time silver medalist) Nyjah is just 17 years old and on top of the street skating world. He won TWS' 2012 Best Video part with "Rise & Shine" (released on iTunes, Nov. 2011). Add that to his TWS Best Street and Reader's Choice awards and it's only the 2nd time in the 14-year history of the awards that a skater has won three categories. Nyjah recovered from a deep bone bruise in his knee in February 2012 to produce his first XG Real Street part. He's grown since winning XG 2011; he's more powerful. He ticks off tricks as if controlled by a joystick. He's won 6 of 9 Street League contests and is favored to repeat XG gold.
