His ability to combine speed and amplitude with incredibly creative technical combinations put him a step above most other pros throughout his career. His video battles with Rodney Mullen -- another legend in the sport -- helped solidify him as one of the industry's best skateboarders and make him a clear fan favorite (at least among some of the older skateboarders) in this year's event.
