Haller is an underestimated rider who finished 4th at the 2011 World Snowboard Championships in halfpipe and earned bronze at WX Europe 2011. He narrowly missed the WX 2012 podium, finishing 4th. The versatile rider does well in both slopestyle and halfpipe events, as his 6th place TTR World Ranking from 2011 shows. He could easily make the WXT podium, but he may need the Cab double cork he's working on. In 2006, he was the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) Rookie Champion and since has appeared on numerous European snowboard magazine covers. Christian and his sister, Ursina, both competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics for Switzerland in halfpipe. He finished 36th, she finished 9th.
