Alex "Chumpy" Pullin had a breakout season in 2011, from FIS World Snowboard Champion to winning the FIS Crystal Globe awarded to the #1 athlete on the FIS World Cup tour. The Aussie has an eternal winter, dividing his time between the southern and northern hemisphere. Chumpy hasn't had much WX luck in his previous 4 appearances, never making it to the Semifinal, but he's at the top of his game coming into 2012. Front man for his surf-reggae band, Love Charli, Chumpy writes the music, is lead vocals and plays guitar.
Two-time Olympic champion Seth Wescott won his first World Cup snowboardcross event in four years Friday in a photo finish over Alex Pullin of Australia.Story | December 14, 2012
