Stian is a 21-year-old Norwegian who earned Winter X Snowboarder X bronze in '09, but a few weeks later a crash put him in a coma for 5 days. He spent almost 4 months in a hospital and had to learn to walk again. He called the 2010 season "recovery" and finished 23rd at WX and 26th in snowboard cross at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
