In 2009, France's Bertoni interrupted the Simon Dumont and Tanner Hall show in SKI SuperPipe, winning WX gold. Bertoni earned his second WX podium in 2010, bronze in SuperPipe. He then earned silver in front of the hometown crowd at the inaugural Winter X Games Europe in Tignes, FRA. Bertoni's ability to combine technical tricks with good amplitude has propelled him to the top of superpipe podiums around the world. Training and traveling with best friend and fellow WX gold medalist Kevin Rolland, the two skiers have spearheaded the burgeoning halfpipe movement in France.
