Rolland was simply superior in 2010 and 2011, winning both Winter X and Winter X Europe in each year. A progressive risk taker, the Frenchman's tremendous work ethic helps with consistency, and he maintains speed by landing difficult tricks high up on the wall. Rolland's superpipe prowess meant he won the year-end titles for both the Dew Tour and the Association of Freeskiing Professionals. Nominated for an ESPY in 2011 for Best Male Action Sports Athlete. While his rewards for being skiing's halfpipe king have been many, he says one of the coolest was being asked to be an ambassador for the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck 2012.
