BUENOS AIRES, May 1 (Reuters) - Former Newcastle United striker Carlos Daniel Cordone has been suspended for two years for his second doping offence in less than a year. The 29-year-old Cordone's positive test for marijuana in March was confirmed with the B sample result of a urine test taken after his club San Lorenzo's Argentine league match against Chacarita Juniors in February, the Argentine Football Association said. Cordone, who played for Newcastle in the English premier league in the 2000-01 season, was banned for three months last year after a positive test for marijuana in April 2003.
