Taylor, 21, part of Big Air's future, is lucky to be skating after suffering a traumatic brain injury in October 2010. Taylor hit his head on the flatbottom of the vert ramp at Dew Tour Las Vegas; he was left to re-learn balance and didn't know if he would ever skate competitively again. Six months later his first major contest back was X Games Asia, where he earned bronze in Mini Mega. Invited to XG Big Air and Vert, Adam is a podium, especially in Big Air. Adam has been dating Winter X Games SKI SuperPipe silver medalist Mirjam Jaeger for over a year.
