Veteran contender with a championship heritage in the 250 class, Tedesco has been fighting injuries in the 450 class for the last few seasons in search of finding his old level. He stayed healthy in 2009 and finally won a 450 race in AMA Motocross, but injuries again derailed him in 2010, to the tune of nine broken ribs in a crash in April. Tedesco is a hard worker with plenty of experience, but he's only a few months removed from a major injury and is unsure of his conditioning coming in. When healthy in a typical supercross race, he can beat '08 and '09 XG Super X gold winner Josh Hansen, but he's not coming in under perfect circumstances.
