If Steve Drew is Working Class in the world of Supermoto then Matt Burton is his little brother. Burton is a dirt tracker from Iowa who discovered Supermoto back in 2003. During the week he's a technician at his family's business, RJ Performance. He had his stepfather, Rick Canode, do all the motor and suspension work to the bikes. If it weren't for Brandon Currie's perfect season in 2008, Matt would have easily won the AMA Supermoto Lites Championship. He's won two of three in the Lites class in 2009 and is currently second in points to Danny Casey.
It can be hard to outrun your reputation. Just ask Kurt Busch, who is the fun-loving prankster one week and the devil with a helmet the next. But is that accurate?
