Twenty-one-year-old Perelson is on the cusp of breaking into the ranks of the top vert skaters. Still skating as an amateur, he's considered part of vert's future. He has technical tricks and pushes the top guys; he was the second person in history to land a 900 during a skate vert run. This San Diego skater's one major vert win came in 2009 at the Maloof Money Cup, where he landed said 900. His best XG finish was his first year, when he finished 4th in Vert in 2007.
