Lester Kasai was part of the historical pioneering days of skateboarding during the 1980s. His first board was made of oak, clay wheels and loose ball bearings. A pro by the time he was 16, Lester was one of the famous Cali locals who skated at all the popular spots back in the day including Skatopia, Big "O", Skate City, Upland Pipeline, Del Mar and "Sadlands". The vert pioneer is known for inventing the Benihana and is the second person to ever land a 540 in the pool.
