At 16, Joey is the youngest rider on the SuperMoto lineup by three years and is 32 years younger than the oldest racer (Jeff Ward). As Troy Lee Designs' newest team member, he's being tapped as a future Supermoto champion. The kid is already so busy with his road racing career that he might be long gone before he's able to win too much in Supermoto. In 2009 he is competing in both the AMA Supermoto Lites Championship and the AMA SuperSport Championship (part of the AMA Pro Road Racing Championship). He is recently recovered from a motocross accident that broke his left wrist.
