Typically a front-runner in any discipline of women's moto, Cruse crashed hard at the first AMA/WMX race of 2010 in Sacramento in May. She broke two vertebra high on her back and her right hand and only has a month on the bike before XG. She's been practicing Supercross 5-6 days a week to prepare. Cruse is talented, determined and has great credentials: silver medal at XG in 2008, third overall in 2009 AMA/WMX tour. But will she be able to recover quickly enough?
