There is perhaps no other skater who has been more hell-bent to clean and skate swimming pools than Steve Alba, who gained pro status over 30 years ago. The first skater to do the lein tailslide, disco rock and roll and rock and roll shuffles, Alba has finished in the top five at almost every contest he has entered over the course of the last three decades. Along the way he earned the nickname, "Le Machine." In 2009, "Salba" finished 5th at the Protec Pool Party against riders half his age. When he is not skating, he likes to play Mr. Mom to sons Riley and Jesse. He also plays tunes with Corey Miller from LA Ink.
