Jolene is the former Canadian Women's National Motocross Champion but she has become a celebrity through her role in MTV's Nitro Circus series as the only full-time female character, and she's not afraid to try anything the boys are pulling. Because of her duties with MTV (they're shooting their second season through the summer), Van Vugt is not racing full-time, but having Travis Pastrana on speed dial gives her the advantage of a place to practice and a coach for tips.
Jolene "Nitro Girl" Van Vugt was seventh out of 10 in her first Enduro X race at X Games Foz do Iguaçu, and she's aiming to improve at X Games Barcelona.
