A technical rider pushing the switch movement in the pipe, AJ finished 3rd overall in the AFP rankings in 2010. Not bad considering he has no formal skiing background. AJ broke onto the scene back in 2008 when he won the U.S. Open halfpipe in Copper, CO. Since then he has racked up podiums at events like the Nippon Open in Japan, which he won in 2009. Inspired by fellow Finns like Antti Autti, Eero Ettala and Heikki Sorsa, AJ recently finished 6th at the 2012 Dew Tour in Ogden, Utah.
