Formerly a professional skier who competed in Skier X at Winter X, Verdier began racing cars in 1994 after winning a Formula 2000 driver's search competition. He bought his first rally car in 2002. Has won the rally class twice at the famed Pikes Peak International Hillclimb (2003, 2004). A former pro drifter, Verdier left drifting at the start of 2011 to focus on the Global RallyCross Championship, where he has been competitive.
