A rookie in both the AMA series and the X Games Blake is a well-spoken, energetic teenager from Texas. He signed on with the Geico Powersports team straight out of the amateur ranks at the end of 2008 and at round six of the 2009 AMA SX Lites East series he won his first professional race. Blake is currently competing in the 2009 AMA Motocross Championship. His best finish was July 25 in Washougal, WA; He finished third.
Ryan Villopoto raced to his sixth AMA Supercross victory in the first 11 rounds of the season Saturday night, holding off Justin Brayton in front of 59,872 fans at Lucas Oil Stadium.
